Swing

My first exhibit was in downtown Glen Falls. The location was known “Amies Movie’s and a Dinner”. I took advantage of 90 linear feet of an empty brick wall and hung nearly thirty cheaply framed pieces of work. I dressed to the occasion wearing black slacks, a black suit coat and a white shirt which would later become my signature for openings. Both a pianist and appetizers were donated. My family and relatives attended and the public turnout was impressive as viewers began to purchase my work. I was shocked yet exuberant… I was onto the “something” big!
