Harrisburg Sundown

Harrisburg Lake within the Adirondacks using charcoal and pastel. Initially, I used charcoal only but I found pastel truly created a wonderful clash between two mediums. Complimenting brilliant color pastel with charcoal enhanced strong contrast and provided the feeling of a warm summer evening at the lake in the Adirondacks.
